The issue affecting Funeralcare Direct Cremation service when choosing the option to pay later was confirmed resolved at 14:27 today. It was thought some planned changes were the cause of the issue and were rolled back before lunch but did not resolve the issue. The team continued to investigate and identified that error 400 was being produced from the website. This was due to some missing environment variables and definition of property being put in the wrong place. A post incident review will be held to understand this fully. No further updates.
» UpdatedEarlier today we were made aware of an issue on the Funeralcare Direct Cremation service when choosing the option to pay later. We have identified the issue however, the solution to fix the problem will be picked up by the team after the weekend on Monday morning. In the meantime, customers can purchase a Direct Cremation by paying online and in a branch with a colleague. We have shared this update with the ITSD & the contact centre should they receive any calls over the weekend. Next update Monday 13th December at 12:00.
